My friend and I got there around 6 and the restaurant was busy. We were seated and our drink orders were taken promptly. The host and waiter were friendly, polite, and humorous. The food was served in courses very quickly, with each course following shortly after finishing the previous one. The soup was amazing, and the salad was crisp and fresh with a creamy greek dressing that was very well done. The main course was veal cutlets with veggies and I chose a mashed potato side with butter. All of the food was very good, very filling, and the coffee was especially excellent. I had a great experience, the staff was awesome and made me feel really at home. It had great atmosphere, wasn't loud but not too quiet. I would definitely recommend to friends and will probably visit again. ~ Matt L

This is Platter #2 ordered for take out, chicken fingers and dry ribs. Pretty much as expected and total cost was $31. Chicken fingers kind of on the small side but good quality. I had to pay for the second dip (1.50) which I was ok with, but then I got the wrong one :(. Not worth going back to correct that. If you have takeout, maybe check order before leaving. Value was good, food is hot and tastes good. Dill dip and honey mustard are good. Was ready on time and in reasonable time. Would probably buy again. I increased my stars from 4 to 5 because i asked the people I shared with and they thought it was worth it. 🎉 Also thank you Mr Ribs for the reply. ~ Allison W

Went in at 9pm, the server asked if he could seat us in the bar but we requested the lounge as the bar was a bit noisy. They mentioned that the lounge closed at 9, we said its absolutely okay to seat us in the bar, its no problem at all but he was adamant that it was okay to sit in the lounge. We sat and ordered and a lady started serving us. She was very nice and super quick with everything. Come to find out at the END of our meal, that she had stayed late to serve us in the lounge. Bro. Totally unnecessary, we felt so bad!!! It was 930 at this point so she had stayed far too long!! We hope the tip we left will make up for it but omg. I felt so bad! We got spinach dip and chicken fingers, portions were MASSIVE and it was delicious. Service was beyond amazing, honestly they were way too nice to us, i would have kicked us out hahah will absolutely come back! ~ k d

I ordered seafood bake online and when I arrived to pick up my food it wasn’t ready. The staff was extremely apologetic, sat me at a table, and gave me free soup and something to drink. Then when they gave me my food, which only took about 10 minutes longer to finish, they included a free slice of garlic toast in that. The portion size was large in regards to the pasta bake itself but the amount of seafood was perfect for one serving. As it was a takeout order, they separated the pasta bake (which had some imitation crab meat in it) and the sea food(shrimp and muscles) into different container. I have been going everyday for the last couple weeks. The quality compared to price ratio is outstanding. 20$ steak with soup and salad and side. I don't order deep fried food... So I don't know how the ribs taste. Everything I've had is delicious, Breakfast, burgers, pasta's, stir fries, chicken, steak, wraps, and I've never been let down with the special. Especially that salmon. mhm. As of sept 2015 it has gone under new management. The service and food quality went down and prices went up. Very disappointed as I eat this Take out pizza. Jan 2016. Had the dry ribs and Caesar salad my daughter had the dry rib, fries and Caesar salad combo and we both enjoyed and we both took home leftovers. A very generous portion of ribs and tasted very good. Will definitely be back to try something else as they have a very extensive menu. We were there late afternoon about 3:45 PM so the restaurant was quiet but the lounge was busy mind you it was Friday. Today April 23,2025 was at Mr Ribs for lunch and had the spaghetti and meat sauce and it was presented well and a good portion and it was very tasty. Definitely will be back to try something else. ~ Ken O

Three of us have eaten here three times in the last three days. Steaks, Hamburgers, Ribs, Beef liver, Fish & chips, I can say that there may have been one or two dishes that weren’t perfect but for the most part they were very good. This is a busy place. Weekends, Mother’s Day, very well patronized. But worth it. They have an expansive menu covering many favourites, prices are reasonable, portions are generous. Service staff are very busy and so it can be a bit hectic. But I will highly recommend this restaurant. Our experience has been very good. ~ Wayne M

Absolutely wonderful local restaurant tried after finding ad on Facebook. Great menu variety. Hot food hot; cold food cold. Had veal cutlet special which came with both soup and salad. Certainly get your money's worth. Spouse had chicken coeur don bleu and said it was delicious. Both servers made us feel welcome, spoke in a polite voice and smiled. Will certainly keep this restaurant in mind to visit again when we are in Saskatoon. So glad we went on an adventure to try a new dining room experience. Thankyou, Mr. Ribs ~ Wendy E

I am very happy and pleased with this restaurant, the service is outstanding. You are greeted at the front door with a warm smile and find you a seat very quickly. I've been here many times I've had everything from the calamari to the pizza to the lasagna and many other dishes. I enjoy every dish that I've eaten so far here. I am a big fan of the pizza here. I find lots of toppings on the pizza and the cheese is never skipped out. Thank you for the great food and service see you soon. ~ Chad S

Actually my favorite place. They are great people, great food, and the amount of food you get for the price makes you think you're in the 90s. Eatting out these days is expensive, but here the dollar goes a long way. Definitely my favorite hole in the wall. I'd highly recommend their ribs and Ceasar, but the nachos are an amazing deal here as well. May not be the right atmosphere for a first date, but it's definitely a good place to make your getaway later on. ~ Jesse L

We eat there, or order out from there almost weekly and have done so for at least 6 years. It is our go to. Nothing in Saskatoon compares. Always friendly, great service. The food is delicious and always plentiful. The price is very reasonable and we have never left hungry. More often than not, we need a doggy bag! The take out pizza is delicious and very affordable! My boyfriend chose Mr. Ribs for his birthday dinner on December 29 as he had remembered going to the Yorkton location as a child. We came around 7:30-8 so there was only one other table in the dining room, but the lounge side appeared to be full and busy. My boyfriend ordered the lasagna with added pepperoni (which they cut up and added to the lasagna before baking) and garlic toast, and I had the souvlaki combo with greek salad and lemon potatoes (a baked potato was my first choice but they had run out). My boyfriend loved the lasagna but had to take half of it home since it was a big portion. My food was delicious, especially the salad and the potatoes. The rice that came with the dish had almost a smoked or charred taste, but I really enjoyed it. It was a huge meal but I ate all of it. We ordered the Blackout Torte for dessert - it was tasty but a little too rich for me,. The birthday boy liked his cake so that's all that mattered. Our server was very friendly and attentive. We ordered the all dressed pizza and ham and pineapple. It was hands down, the BEST pizza I’ve had in a long time! The cheese, omg, I can’t even tell you how delicious it was! lol it tasted like REAL mozzarella! It was cooked to perfection and all the toppings tasted fresh! This is now my go to 100% when I’m craving delicious pizza. We also had the dry ribs which are always amazing! Thank you Mr.Ribs! ~ Robyn

This little restaurant in Lakewood is almost always busy with faithful regulars & those that they introduce to one of the best Greek restaurants in town. The food is always good, they serve the best dry ribs & lemon potatoes in town, the portions are generous, the servers are pleasant, & you will want to return, as well as order take out from Mr Ribs so you can enjoy the food again. ~ G G

We stopped in for supper it was packed but they found us a spot. The food was unbelievable! We ordered special and combo's the food was great and you got soup and a large salad before the main course which was enough food for both of us the next day. It was delicious! And price was under $20 each. Our server was great, friendly and quick. We will definitely go again for supper. ~ Elizabeth B

I enjoyed my time here. The waiters were very friendly and processed my order on time. I made reservations, and by the time I arrived, the place was already set up. There is free parking in place, and the ambience is nice and lovely. Food is also affordable here. Not on the high side. It is a good place for a date or a family night out. Very disappointed in myself for not trying out Mr. Ribs before this year. In just half a year, have enjoyed their food over a dozen times (dine in and delivery). Generous portions, hot & fresh food, very acommodating with special requests, comfortable atmosphere in person. Best dry ribs in the city & best salsbury steak I have ever had and that is just the tip of the iceberg! ~ Shaun P

I find myself coming back here frequently not just for the food, but also buying their jars of caesar dressing. It's the BEST caesar dressing I have ever have and I continue to use it, i'm not sure how they managed to create such an amazing combination of garlic and creaminess in their caesar salad dressing, but it has made me never want to try any other caesar salad dressing ever again. ~ B M

Since my first visit there, I’ve always ordered greek baby back rib for one of two and for another one, have been trying different menu one by one. Most of menus were satisfied me. They mostly served really good foods with fresh ingredients. Also staffs are so friendly too. It’s one of my few favorite restaurants. ~ Seunghwan O

My boyfriend, friends and I have all been coming to Mr. Ribs for a year now and it is so good! The food is awesome and you get a lot for the price. I highly recommend the calamari and dry ribs for appetizers! This is genuinely our favourite restaurant in town. I was just there today and I can't wait to go back! ~ Sharmaine H

Awesome atmosphere, amazing food, clean and low wait times. If that's not enough the restaurant is operated by very hands-on people that will treat you like family. A great place to grab a small bite, or have the whole family full without breaking the bank. Highly recommend! ~ Roflo

Went last night with some friends because we wanted the classic Greek family restaurant experience and it did not disappoint. The food was excellent and the service was great. Our server was friendly, funny and went above and beyond. Will definitely be going back. ~ Jamin D

Went to Mr. Ribs yesterday for brunch. Our server Rose was so awesome, she was fast and very friendly. The food portion size was great and the price was even better. I ordered the daily special, the Western Omelet. It was so tasty. I will defiantly go back again. ~ ThePreston123456

Very large portions. I had boneless ribs and caesar salad. Salad was especially tasty. Ribs made with actual rib meat. Very nice with dill dip. Ordered french fries before seeing portion size. Definitely not needed. First time there. Very enjoyable. Will definitely go back! ~ Brian B
